Well, thanks friends, I finally know my Acajoom module works.
Gladys subscribed.
Like my last Ezine, (hey, there's another word for that Internet lingo list) she was the first one who subscribed.
Actually a couple of other people apparently tried but they failed to confirm their email message when it arrived. If it did. But, anyway, dear Gladys got it all done and she's reader number one. I love Gladys.
I'm not so sure about that last ezine. I moved it from site to site and changed it's name at least a few times. I think people quit trying to figure out what it was about after about the third time they read it. Life got in the way and I quit writing it. Whew!
Hopefully, our new ezine, "Cuttin' Jackpots" will be more like our first 'zine, "Geeks, Freaks and Bamboozles". That's where we first met Gladys.
We had a "Get Acquainted With Our Readers" column. I've reprinted Glady's interview here in honor of her subscribing today. It's a couple years out of date. Gladys is a little older now and her husband is gone but I sure feel lucky to have her company on my website. |

When I looked at today's Yahoo Alert email for my search word "South Dakota" this was a headline:
Duluth shoots down South Dakota men
The Argus Leader Sat, 17 Feb 2007 11:57 PM PST
South Dakota women, too. Must be a Minnesota thing. I swear it'd be a big deal if a carny did it.
No, seriously I spent the longest year in Duluth two weeks one spring. Mighty Thomas Shows going into Thunder Bay. Cold, wet, blank.
Thankfully, the dismal was made up for by good company, good food off the lot barbies and the beautiful scenic route up North Shore Drive to Canada.
Even better seen while hitchhiking but that's a story from our old 'zine, "Geeks, Freaks and Bamboozles". Maybe I should dig that yarn out one of these days.

SEO is kinda tricky, (see, there we go again, another entry for our IM Lingo), I've found an article in a newsletter that lays a lot of what I know about SEO after three years research right on the line.
You should read it if you're interested in optimizing web sites for search engines. |
